§ Mr. BrittanWe understand that about 536,000 such persons—approximately two-thirds of those eligible—are included in the 1980 electoral registers in England and Wales. Detailed figures will be given in an OPCS monitor to be published shortly.
In order to increase the rate of registration among this group of electors, we intend to pay special attention to them in the publicity which accompanies the annual registration process and in the redesigned version of form A.
