§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe laboratory has a continuing programme of study and development of safety features for motor cycles and mopeds. This work has made a major contribution to the development of more effective braking systems and methods of rider protection. It has also demonstrated the vital importance of conspicuity in preventing accidents.
