§ Mr. Edward Lyonsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will take steps to ensure the continuation of the 100 per cent. grant in respect of derelict land clearance after 1982 in respect of those areas of West Yorkshire at present eligible to receive it.
§ Mr. FoxThe Department is currently considering with the Department of Industry the nature and extent of dereliction in the intermediate areas, including West Yorkshire, in order to decide which should be designated as derelict land clearance areas and thus continue to be eligible for 100 per cent. grants. A statement will be made in due course.
