§ Q8. Mr. David Priceasked the Prime Minister whether she is satisfied with the implementation of the recommendations of the Fulton committee on the Civil Service.
§ The Prime MinisterThe main aim of the Fulton committee was to maintain a Civil Service equal to the tasks of modern government with particular emphasis on economy and efficiency. I agree with this emphasis and am determined that further efforts to improve on present achievements should continue during the lifetime of this Parliament.
