§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many preparatory courses in basic numeracy and literacy are being provided in the Yorkshire and Humberside region by the Manpower Services Commission; and how many of these are in South Yorkshire.
§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that it expects that 19 TOPS preparatory courses in numeracy and literacy will be provided in Yorkshire and Humberside region during the 1980–81 financial year. Six of these courses will be held in South Yorkshire.
