asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is satisfied with the rate of progress in the construction of the uncompleted parts of the M4 motorway; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. I expect the Castleton-Coryton section of the M4 to be opened about the end of June or early July this year and the Bridgend northern bypass in the spring of 1981.
