§ Dr. VaughanIn 1978–79 additional resources of £2.085 million were assigned for the purchase of kidney machines, of which £1.103 million was spent during the year. In 1979–80 additional expenditure equivalent to the balance of £982,000 was authorised, but I do not yet know how much was spent. The information for the regional health authorities is:
