§ Mr. Prior[pursuant to the reply, 18 April 1980, c. 733]: The aggregate cost of all work commissioned to date from consultants by the comparability commission is £336,000. Work undertaken by the Civil Service Pay Research Unit on behalf of the commission is estimated to have cost £150,000. Work by the Office of Manpower Economics for the commission is estimated to have cost £160,000.
