asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will give the numbers of warheads for the ballistic missiles set out in the table on page 13 of Cmnd. 7826–1.

The information is shown in the table below. The number of warheads carried on a missile can vary; this table shows the main variants for those missiles capable of delivering multiple independently targettable re-entry vehicles—MIRV. The missiles shown as MRV—multiple re-entry vehicles—may carry more than one warhead in some variants, but these would all be delivered on one target. I regret that in the table on page 13 of Cmnd. 7826–1 "Minuteman 1 " has been printed in error as one of those missiles currently included in the United States ICBM forces. The numbers of missiles shown are, however, correct.
