§ Mr. Dudley Smithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the need for national energy conservation, why the heating in many of the offices of Norman Shaw, North was on at full force on 14 and 15 April, whereas the temperature outside was in the region of 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergA defect in an electric motor caused the main water temperature control valve to remain open. A new motor is now being fitted but room temperatures in Norman Shaw, North can be reduced if individual radiators are turned off.
