§ Mr. Brocklebank-Fowlerasked the Lord Privy Seal if he has made representations to the Soviet Government against their refusal to host the Paraplegic Games following the Olympic Games in Moscow, in the light of the break with the tradition established by other Olympic host countries.
§ Mr. BlakerNo representations were made to the Soviet Union when it declined, some 18 months ago, to stage the 1980 Olympic Games for the Disabled. The Russians gave no reason for their refusal. The Games will now take place in the Netherlands.
