Mr. George Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give a breakdown for the years 1980–81, 1981–82, 1982–83, 1983–84 of the heading "other public services" in table 4.1. in Cmnd. 7841, the public expenditure White Paper.

The information requested, set out in the table below, has been prepared in a form consistent with table 2.13 of Cmnd. 7841 which, for the reasons explained in paragraph 6 of part I of the White Paper, contains only broad totals for the years after 1980–81.
