HL Deb 15 April 1980 vol 408 c272WA
Lord SEFTON of GARSTON

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will give details of the aid proposed to have been given to the International Sports Company in respect of the golf ball factory at Speke and indicate by how much this falls short of the company's requirement to keep the factory at Speke open and so save 233 jobs.

Viscount TRENCHARD

No, we regard such commercial matters as being in confidence between the Department of Industry and the company.
