§ Mr. ChannonI am confident that the structure of the Civil Service will adapt appropriately to the needs of the next decade. As time goes on, it may well be necessary to make changes in the structure of the Civil Service especially as it is difficult to make predictions so far ahead. For the moment I believe that the structure is generally adequate for the tasks that the Government require of the Civil Service.
