HC Deb 15 April 1980 vol 982 cc620-2W
Mr. Peter Robinson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many of the 218 possession orders granted up to December 1979 by the courts against tenants in the Twinbrook housing estate had by that date been lodged for enforcement with the enforcement of judgments office; and how many have been enforced since.

Mr. Goodhart

Responsibility for action in response to squatting in individual estates rests with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. I am informed, however, by the Executive that none of the possession orders granted up to Decem- ber 1979 by the courts against tenants in the Twinbrook estate had by that date been lodged for enforcement with the enforcement of judgments office and that none has been enforced since.
