When they expect to receive the report of the departmental scrutiny under the guidance of Sir Derek Rayner into the handling of applications for citizenship of the United Kingdom and Colonies, and whether they will then make a statement on this matter.
§ Lord BELSTEADIt is hoped that the report will be received later this year and consideration will be given to the most appropriate way of announcing the conclusions reached as a result of the report.
