HC Deb 14 April 1980 vol 982 c546W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is satisfied that his decision to change the method of uprating the child additions to national insurance benefits satisfies the requirement of section 125(3) of the Social Security Act 1975 to ensure that they have retained their value; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Prentice

I am satisfied that the revised rates of child additions which we have proposed meet this requirement.
