asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the annual rate of inflation he allowed for in his provision of health service expenditure in 1980–81.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his allocation of Health Service expenditure for Scotland overall and for each health board for 1980–81.

Total provision for health in Scotland in 1980–81 is £1,250 million. Of this £231 million is for the family practitioner services and the balance is for services provided centrally or by the health boards. The amount allocated to health boards is £977 million distributed among the boards as follows:
