§ Mr. Humphrey AtkinsI met Irish Ministers on 5 October last when we agreed on a series of measures designed to inhibit the movement of terrorists on either side of the border and their ability to exploit that border, whether to commit criminal acts or to evade arrest. These measures are all in effect, and are continuously monitored through the contacts that take place regularly between the RUC and the Garda at several levels.
