§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in his Finance Bill to implement his Budget proposals, he will take the necessary action to ensure that his proposals on taxation of private use and worth of a company car shall apply on the same basis to all persons with use of a car, including top civil servants and Ministers of the Crown.
§ Mr. Peter ReesAll individuals, including top civil servants and Ministers, for whom cars are provided by reason of their office or employment will continue to enjoy the same treatment in the measurement of any benefit for tax purposes.
