§ Mr. John Wellsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has had from Kent county councillors concerning Shenley airfield, Headcorn; and what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. FoxI have had three letters from a Kent county councillor about a planning application for the use of one turboprop aircraft at Shenley airfield for crop spraying. I am satisfied that it is appropriate for the local planning authorities themselves to decide the application, and they have been so informed.
