§ 37. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why it took him until 26 March to reply to the hon. Member for Newham, North-West's letter of 26 February; what was contained in this reply which could not have been sent within days of receipt; and, as the letter sent by the hon. Member dealt with the question of the ban on Scientologists which has been in operation for 10 years or more, why so long is needed to consider this matter.
