§ Mr. Alexander W. Lyonasked the Lord Privy Seal whether, in the light of the fact that the benefits from the Rossing uranium mine go to the United Kingdom, South Africa and the contractors, and not to Namibia, he will take steps to cancel the agreement for the mining.
§ Mr. LuceHer Majesty's Government do not intend to cancel the contract between British Nuclear Fuels Ltd. and Rossing Uranium Ltd. for the purchase of uranium. The Rossing uranium mine is making an increasing contribution to the development of Namibia's economy.
