§ Mr. EyreTables giving the available international comparisons were published in the 17 August 1979 issue ofTrade and Industry, pp. 332–4. The estimates were largely based on the 1979 OECD publication "Profits and Rates of Return" by Professor T. P. Hill. Updated and revised estimates will be published by OECD by about the middle of 1980. No estimates are available in historic cost terms.
