HC Deb 02 April 1980 vol 982 c288W
Miss Maynard

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will bring forward legislation to control ground rents for caravan owners, particularly in the case of retirement pensioners.

Mr. Stanley

Occupiers of residential caravans who have the benefit of agreements under the Mobile Homes Act 1975 may not have their pitch rents reviewed more than once a year and may refer their agreements to the court in case of dispute. With regard to any future legislation I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Falmouth and Camborne (Mr. Mudd) on 27 March.—[Vol. 981, c. 684.]
