§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Trade what help he intends to give to the British Airports Authority to implement the recommendations of the 242W International Civil Airports Association on the handicapped and the airport; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. TebbitThe British Airports Authority, which is not a member of the association, already has a comprehensive policy at its airports designed to help the disabled traveller. My right hon. Friend, the Minister for Social Security is currently discussing the needs of handicapped air travellers with their representatives and I am sure he will take full account of any points on airports which they draw to his attention.
