§ 28. Mr. Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will have discussions with the National Union of Teachers about introducing further flexibility into teaching hours, in order to facilitate the phasing out of the provision of school lunches.
§ Dr. BoysonConsultation with the teachers' unions about their members' conditions of service is primarily a matter for the local authorities' associations, but, so far as Government policy is concerned, it is not the intention that provision of school lunches should be phased out.
