§ Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what plans he has to meet representatives of the African, Caribbean and Pacific sugar suppliers and, when he meets them, if he will assure them that he will pursue policies for United Kingdom sugar beet which will not displace the African, Caribbean and Pacific sugar from the United Kingdom market or result in extra costs to the cane sector.
