§ Mr. RifkindCapital expenditure allocations for housing have been made to local authorities since 1978–79. Before then a system of individual project control was in force. The following table indicates the information available.
ton hospitals, Dumfries, have been sold. Major properties on which departmental action with a view to eventual sale has been proceeding but is temporarily held up are Killearn hospital, six hospitals in the Argyll and Clyde area, and farm lands at Gartloch, Larbert and Sunnyside.
