Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) what decisions he has taken concerning the continuation of the quota scheme for the employment of disabled people; whether he has taken representations made in response to the Manpower Services Commission's consultative document on the quota into account in making any decision about the future of the scheme; and whether he is satisfied with the presentation of background information in that document;

(2) how many grants have been made to employers towards the cost of adaptations to premises or equipment to enable

of MSC action to alleviate the problems which result.
