§ Dr. VaughanOn 30 June 1979 there were 297 patients on the waiting list. Waiting time for non-urgent treatment in Sutton in Ashfield is 19 months, and in Kirby in Ashfield six months. Urgent cases are seen immediately.
All patients on the waiting list have recently been reassessed to ensure that their condition has not deteriorated, and have been advised to contact the clinic again if their condition worsens. In an effort to reduce waiting times in the Central Nottinghamshire health district assistance is being given by chiropodists from the North and South Nottingham districts.
