§ Mr. GrayThe current estimate, as published in the 1979 Brown Book, is that recoverable oil reserves originally in place on the United Kingdom continental shelf lie between 2,400 and 4,400 million tonnes. Production from the UKCS is expected to continue into the twenty-first century.
