§ Mr. Morganasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in view of the heavy losses sustained by hill farmers, in particular during the earlier part of 1979, he will now increase hill livestock compensatory allowances to their current permissible maximum of 337W £33.92 per breeding cow and £5.08 per hardy breeding ewe with immediate, retrospective effect.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe review of hill livestock compensatory allowances is in progress, and my right hon. Friend intends to announce the Government's decision before the end of November.
