§ Sir George YoungEstimates of the total mid-year population for 1978 have been published inPopulation Trends 17. The available figures for the New Commonwealth and Pakistani population are expected to be published next month, 219W though not necessarily in quite the same form as was done last year in PP 1/1/78/4.
