§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will set out in the Official Report the percentage of the total tax cuts announced in his Budget for the following levels of earnings: up to £2,000, £4,000, £5,000, £8,000, £10,000 and £15,000; and also show the percentage of the tax cuts he announced, excluding those announced in April 1979.

§ Mr. Meacherasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what were the estimated gains and losses accruing from his Budget of 12 June to those with incomes, respectively, of less than 1,000, £1,000 to £2,000, £2,000 to £3,000, £3,000 to £4,000, £4,000 to £5,000, £5,000 to £6,000, £6,000 to £7,000, £7,000 to £10,000, £10,000 to £15,000, £15,000 to £20,000, £20,000 to £30,000, £30,000 to £50,000, £50,000 to £70,000 and over £70,000, indicating in each case the gain or loss from each component of the Budget for which a quantifiable yield can be estimated.
