Not only are war pensioners entitled to priority admission to National Health Service hospitals—subject only to emergency and other urgent cases—where treatment is needed for an accepted disability, but I have now reached an agreement with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence which, within the normal National Health Service intake, will give war pensioners greater access to Service hospitals than hitherto.
