§ Mr. Meacherasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the total of tax relief granted in each year since 1960, respectively, for life assurance premiums, mortgage interest tax relief, employers' and employees' contributions to occupational pension schemes, relief 153W on funds' interest income, net of adjustment for tax on pensions paid, relevant annuity relief, age allowance and bank loan interest relief; and in each case for the latest year what was the value of the relief per capita for those with incomes less than £3,000, £3,000 to £5,000, £5,000 to £7,000, £7,000 to £10,000, £10,000 to £20,000, and over £20,000, respectively.
