§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects the Manpower Services Commission to publish its review of the effectiveness of the training provisions of the Employment and Training Act 1973, including in particular a review of the work of industrial training boards.
§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the review body is expected to report in the first instance to the Commission by July 1980. Its report will subsequently be referred to Ministers for consideration.
