The Attorney-GeneralThe Lord Chancellor intends to bring about the extension of compulsory registration of title in England and Wales as rapidly as circumstances permit. My right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland are responsible for land registration in Scotland and Northern Ireland respectively.
