§ Mr. BrittanThe numbers of applications for legal aid and the numbers refused for all magistrates' courts proceedings are published annually by petty sessional division in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales"—table 25 of the volume for 1978, Cmnd 7670. Corresponding figures for the types of proceedings specified are given in the following table.
