§ Mr. Moyleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he has now reconsider his letter to the chairman of the North-West Thames regional health authority of 28 August, as promised by his hon. Friend the Minister of 831W Health, and whether he will now confirm that the letter should only apply to the most temporary closures of small units and sub-units.
§ Dr. VaughanI refer the right hon. Member to my reply to the hon. Member for Wood Green (Mr. Race) of 26 November. As regards closure procedures, the letter he refers to does no more than restate existing requirements set out in regulations and Departmental guidance—[Vol. 974, c. 466].
