§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimThere is no general requirement to notify price increases to the Office of Fair Trading. In a limited number of cases the parties to a monopoly situation notify price increases to the Office as a consequence of undertakings they have given following adverse findings by the Monopolies and Mergers Commission in a report on a monopoly investigation. No such arrangements apply to beer.
