635WSo far some 12,000 copies of this publication have been sold in the United Kingdom. No realistic estimates are available concerning the proportion reaching individual farmers. However, the matter is one on which the Government and the various industrial organisations concerned are at present considering the case for joint studies, as lately recommended by the Royal Commission on environmental pollution.
