§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science further to the written reply by the Minister, Official Report, 25 October, c. 255–6, how soon he will be able to make an offer to the Association of University of Teachers and the University Authorities' Panel in relation to the pay settlement that was due on 1 October; and if it is his intention that the salary erosion over the past four years should be corrected in this pay settlement.
