§ Mr. RaisonRecords available to me show that, up to the end of 1978, there was one prosecution under the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act 1976, in which the charge was dismissed, and one completed prosecution under the Conservation of Wild Creatures and Wild Plants Act 1975, for which the offender was fined £10. However, because such prosecutions may be brought privately, the information I have may be incomplete.
