- Glenfarg community council
- Councillor John Kidd
- Mr. D. Maclean
- Whitfield community council
- Craigiebank and district community council
- Craigie club for retired persons
- Downfield and district community council
- Dundee Labour Party
- The Communist Party
- Councillor Welsh
- Councillor McAuley, and
- Councillor Christie.
