asked the Minister of Transport what is the Government's policy on routing heavy vehicles in and around London.

§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke
The Government are giving the highest national priority to the completion of the M25 to provide an adequate route around London for heavy vehicles.
Lorry routing within London is primarily for the GLC as the strategic planning authority.
