§ Mr. Lathamasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make a statement on the progress of the review of the staffing of the development land 547W tax office; and whether he will place a copy of the review report in the Library.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 12 November 1979]: The review of procedures in the development land tax office has been completed. The report deals inter alia, with the detailed working and accounting procedures of the office and I do not think it would be appropriate to place a copy in the Library. But if there is any particular point which my hon. Friend wishes to raise perhaps he would write to me.
