§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many prison officers in Northern Ireland have been killed or injured while on duty; and how many have been killed or injured off duty as a result of terrorist incidents since 1968.
§ Mr. AlisonSince 1968 a total of 15 members of the Northern Ireland prison service have been killed and 22 have been injured as a result of terrorist attacks. Three were killed and eight injured during their hours of duty and 12 were killed and 14 injured while off duty.
§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve have been killed or injured on duty; and how many have been killed or injured off duty as a result of terrorist incidents since the formation of the force;
(2) how many members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary have been killed or injured on duty; and how many have been killed or injured off duty as a result of terrorist incidents since 1968;
(3) on how many occasions in the past six months the Royal Ulster Constabulary has been fired at by terrorists; on how many occasions it returned fire; and how many terrorists were killed or injured as a result.
