§ Mr. Wyn Roberts5,151 improvement grants were paid in Wales for owner occupied and housing association dwellings in the year ended 31 August 1979. The proposals for greater flexibility outlined in the consultation paper on the Government's Housing Bill will, I hope, stimulate the improvement and repair of our housing stock.
